March - Month of ' Breakthrough'

Welcome to March 2010 – our Month of Breakthrough.

This is a particularly significant month for us at Gateway Chapel as we are celebrating the seventh year since God planted the Ministry. In our seven years of existence, God has performed numerous miracles through His servants and many lives have been transformed and turned around for the better. We have been able to spread the Gospel and bring Church closer to people within different areas by planting two more churches that have since grown and become a blessing to numerous people.

As part of our seventh year anniversary celebrations – we will be having a special Man of God with us from Thursday the 4 th of March until Sunday 7 th March. Reverend George Adegboye will be ministering on the power of God to enable us breakthrough in various aspects of our lives and break all barriers that have been hitherto preventing people from reaching their God designed destinies.

The entire month of March would be dedicated to celebrating our Anniversary and we expect you to join us as we rejoice in God's glory. We will be holding special prayer sessions and prophetic services that would bless everyone. See our Events Page for more details.

We would be using Praises as our means of invoking breakthrough in every aspect of people's lives. The Bible encourages us, and exhorts us, and even commands us to “praise” the Lord. What is praise? In the New Testament the words praise, worship, glory, and honour are ALL translated from the same one Greek word?! The word is “doxa”, and its base meaning is glory.

If there is any difference between praise and worship it is simply that WORSHIP is how we esteem God - it's the attitude of adoration in the heart. You can worship God without a sound. PRAISE, however, is the articulation of that adoring heart. When we praise God we give vent and voice to our heart of worship.

Join us as we offer Praise to our God and be part of the Breakthrough and blessing that will come as a result of our Praises.
